Individual counseling offers a space to explore grief, emotional pain, identity, and relational patterns at your own pace. Together, we’ll work to understand what you’re experiencing, where it comes from, and how to move forward with greater clarity and self-compassion.
Common areas of focus include:
Anxiety and Depression
PTSD and Trauma
Grief and Loss
Family Systems

Individual Counseling
Relationship counseling provides a space to slow down relational dynamics and understand what is happening beneath conflict or disconnection.
Rather than focusing on blame or “who’s right,” I work with couples to:
Understand emotional patterns
Improve communication and emotional safety
Address attachment needs
Rebuild trust and connection
I believe having both partners present allows us to better understand the relational system and support meaningful change.

Fees
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept debit and credit cards, including HSA and FSA cards.
I am a private-pay provider and do not accept insurance at this time. However, I am happy to provide an itemized receipt that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Because out-of-network benefits vary by plan, I encourage you to contact your insurance provider directly to understand your coverage and reimbursement options.
I also offer a limited number of reduced-fee slots for clients experiencing financial hardship. Availability is limited and determined on a case-by-case basis. Please feel free to inquire if you believe you may qualify.
Why Private Pay?
By choosing private pay, your mental health information is not shared with insurance companies, allowing for increased privacy and confidentiality. Insurance companies often require a mental health diagnosis and ongoing documentation to determine coverage. Private pay therapy allows us to focus on you rather than on labels or medical necessity criteria.
Being private pay also gives us greater freedom in how we work together. Without insurance-mandated treatment plans or session limits, therapy can be more integrative and responsive to your unique needs, pace, and goals.
Most importantly, private pay allows therapy to remain a collaborative space, one where care is guided by what feels meaningful and supportive for you, rather than by external requirements.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to the full cost of service. This policy allows me to reserve consistent, dedicated time for each client.
